Coneunwrap is a free paper-pattern geometry calculator for ideal truncated cones, pointed cones and equal-radius cylinders. Each calculation runs locally in your browser.

What it provides

Enter two radii and the straight side length to see an annular-sector development or cylinder rectangle. The result includes a fit-to-screen preview, a millimetre-sized SVG with a calibration line, a CSV dimension list and a copied geometry plan. The original worked guide explains the formulas, curve approximation and limits.

A defined model

The calculator assumes concentric circular edges, straight sides and zero material thickness. It does not supply seam tabs, overlap, cutting kerf, end caps, print tiling or printer/cutter accuracy. It is a layout model for a paper test, rather than a fabrication specification or a fit guarantee.

Free use and future support

No account, subscription or payment is required. The operator intends to support free tools with advertising if host-specific approval, consent and advertising setup are completed. This release contains no active advertising, analytics or consent-management scripts. Publisher metadata and ads.txt do not activate ads or establish approval.
